Media.Monks is on the lookout for a Workday Solutions Engineer.
What you’ll be doing.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday integration solutions to meet business needs.
- Oversee integrations with tools including Greenhouse, CompAnalyst, DocuSign, Netsuite, ADP, Airtable, and Jira.
- Manage the strategic roadmap for Workday integrations, ensuring operational support aligns with service level goals.
- Act as a liaison between internal business partners and external vendors for post- implementation and ongoing administration.
- Handle project and release management for Workday functionality, including tenant management and change management.
- Support and resolve escalations related to Workday integrations and continuously improve processes.
- Develop and manage global HCM systems and business processes for talent and performance management.
- Lead requirement elicitation and validation sessions with multiple business areas and IT partners.
- Ensure comprehensive test plans and cases are developed and automated testing is leveraged.
- Looking for those who have experience supporting end-to-end integrations across multiple platforms.
You’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of consecutive Workday integration development experience.
- Direct, hands-on experience with Workday APIs (REST and SOAP).
- Experience with Workday security model, business processes, and reporting.
- Experience with Workday Extend, or equivalent application development framework.
- Experience with Workday Studio, or equivalent integration technology.
- Experience with Workday Prism.
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors and system integrators.
- Expertise in Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services (WWS), and Report Writer.
- Skills in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes within Workday.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in creating custom integrations and managing Workday APIs.
- Experience with data migration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and tools.
- Proficient in XML, XSLT, and JSON for data transformation and manipulation.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems like Greenhouse, CompAnalyst, DocuSign, Netsuite, ADP, Airtable, and Jira.
- Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
- Expertise in managing full lifecycle implementations and upgrades of Workday.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including Workday security configuration and role-based access controls.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Proficiency in using automated testing tools and techniques.
We’d love to see:
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Proficiency in using scripting languages like JavaScript or Shell scripting for automation.
- Understanding of compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX as they relate to Workday integrations.
